On October 26, 2022 (Beijing Time), our dedication bore fruit: Lingyun Facade officially received the UKCA certification from TÜV Rheinland headquarters in the Netherlands! This marks the issuance of China's first-ever UKCA certificate in the glass curtain wall industry!

  Britain's construction curtain wall industry has gradually transitioned from the previously required CE certification to the new UKCA certification system. Starting in 2023, the UK will no longer recognize CE markings - only enterprises holding valid UKCA certifications will be permitted to operate in this market. After strategic deliberations, Lingyun leadership decided to pursue a "dual-track" approach to simultaneously maintain CE certification validity for European market access while swiftly obtaining UKCA certification. This strategy ensures continuity in CE-certified markets while securing first-mover advantage in completing the dual-certification transition.

  During this critical period, we overcame numerous challenges: commissioning certification consultations, conducting product quality management system audits, coordinating domestic and international subsidiaries and project teams, and navigating pandemic-related uncertainties. Through relentless collective efforts, we ultimately secured this hard-won certification.

(Summary description) Great news! The Kuwait Branch of the Overseas Company has successfully won the bid for the Riyadh Airport Expansion Project H Concourse in Saudi Arabia. With the guidance and full support of the Construction and Decoration Company and the Overseas Company, and through the joint efforts of the domestic and international marketing teams, design teams, and relevant departments, on January 23, 2024, the general contractor of the Riyadh Airport Expansion Project H Concourse - the Saudi Branch of the Civil Aviation Airport Construction Group Beijing International Engineering Co., Ltd. - issued a bid-winning notice, announcing that Lingyun had won the bid. After defeating several strong domestic and international competitors and more than four months of follow-up, Lingyun successfully secured its first project in Saudi Arabia. This project is also the first project undertaken by the Kuwait Branch outside the Kuwait market and the first project obtained since the focus on expanding the Saudi market. In recent years, following the deployment of the Overseas Company, the Kuwait Branch has actively pursued a "going global" strategy while consolidating its traditional market in Kuwait. In particular, since the implementation of the "Vision 2030" and the launch of a large number of engineering projects in the Saudi market, the Saudi market has become a key area for the Kuwait Branch to explore. Yu Ding, General Manager of the Overseas Company, and Fang Huiwu, Party Branch Secretary and Manager of the Kuwait Branch, have adjusted the marketing focus and direction of the Kuwait Branch in response to the current situation.
