　　The main building of the Dongguan Magnolia Theatre resembles a flamenco dance rotating skirt on the Dongguan Administrative Center Square, interweaving a fragrant melody like a magnolia flower, blending with the uplifting spirit of Dongguan. Its unique style is ingenious and harmoniously blended with the surrounding environment. It was proposed by the world-renowned theater designer Carlos Otter Architects of Canada, and Tongji University Architectural Design and Research Institute as the general contractor.

　　Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater has a total investment of 618 million yuan and covers an area of ??36010 square meters. It has a 1600-seat grand theater and a 400-seat multi-functional experimental theater. The grand theater is equipped with a fully mechanized stage with smooth and reasonable process design. The dressing room used by the actors at the same time, the orchestra and band lounge for 120-person four-scale band performers, also equipped with ballet, opera, choir rehearsal hall, high-end VIP hall, exhibition hall, Chinese and Western restaurants, cafes, art Shopping mall and outdoor landscape recreation area.

　　Dongguan Yulan Grand Theater also builds an auxiliary building decorated according to the standard of a three-star hotel, which can simultaneously accommodate the board and lodging of 200 cast members and 170 employees of the Grand Theater.
